At the Artist’s Table: Artist Emmi Whitehorse & Chef Tracy Ritter Join Forces to Benefit Santa Fe Public Education & the Arts

Emmi Whitehorse, the reknowned contemporary artist of Navajo descent will join Tracy Ritter, executive chef of the Santa Fe School of Cooking, for an exclusive summer evening exploring the art and cuisine inspired by Santa Fe’s Indian Market – all to benefit local education and the arts.

At the Artist’s Table is a series of exceptional dinners that pair legendary Santa Fe artists with equally celebrated, award-winning chefs, working together to create an exclusive menu that becomes the centerpiece for a truly memorable evening of art, fine dining, culture and conversation.

This summer’s dinner on Tuesday, August 13th coincides with one of the city’s dynamic, historic art markets: the 92nd annual Santa Fe Indian Market – providing an unforgettable, authentic experience of southwestern culture.

In addition to an extraordinary meal, guests will enjoy:

  • Exclusive dining with each event limited to just 60 diners;
  • A rare opportunity for one-on-one conversations with the chef and artist;
  • Insightful presentations by the chef and artist about their work; and
  • A signed, limited-edition work of art by the artist.

Native American contemporary artist Emmi Whitehorse, represented by Chiaroscuro Contemporary Art in Santa Fe, will partner with Santa Fe School of Cooking Executive Chef Tracy Ritter to create a one-of-a-kind menu. Ritter is is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City and the International Pastry Arts Academy in Katonah, NY.

Proceeds from At the Artist’s Table benefit the Partners in Education Foundation for the Santa Fe Public Schools and the City of Santa Fe Arts Commission’s Artist Exhibit and Education Program. Partners in Education raises funds to support Santa Fe’s public school teachers and students. The Arts Commission nurtures and supports Santa Fe’s unique artistic and cultural heritage.
