    " Bark"

    Past Show : June 7th - July 7th 2013

For Crites’ second solo show at Chiaroscuro she continues working with tapa paper, ink and dyes, creating abstractions regarding interconnectedness on a global level. From the environmental to the human, Crites’ work is inspired by the ties we all have to nature and each other. Her “webs” of black lines flow over the rough texture of tapa, like rivers or threads of connecting and re-connecting paths. The exhibition will include numerous individual compositions as well as a large scale installation piece.

Opening Reception: Friday, June 7, 5-7pm
