Millett has spent the majority of his career making large scale metal sculpture, abstractions of both figurative movement and geometry. However, many of these pieces start from ideas hashed out in wood, small scale with vibrant monochromatic color schemes. This exhibition presents a collection of small sculptures for the wall and the pedestal. Each piece has a dynamic compositional element that inspires visual interest and translates to the monumental, yet they were made for an intimate view.
